Le Garçon Saigon is now open for lunch!
Le Garçon Saigon on Wing Fung Street is extending their opening hours and will be welcoming guests for weekday lunch, available from Monday to Friday from 12pm to 2:30pm.
While continuing to celebrate the vibrant and fresh flavours of Saigonese cuisine, their Chef, Bao La, has created a lunch menu for you to enjoy during a refreshing lunch break. For a more leisurely lunch experience, you can also pair the menu with a glass of rosé and linger a little longer.
Based on a typical daytime lunch in Saigon, the bun bowls (vermicelli noodles) are served cold, perfect for hot days, and are filling while staying light and refreshing. The rice bowls use broken rice, something a typical blue collar worker would have for lunch. A by-product of premium rice, broken rice is literally the partial grains of rice that aren’t able to be sold as premium as they are the broken half and quarter pieces. As a result, the grains are easier to digest and one feels less bloated after eating this type of rice, making it a great option for people who need to stay active and sharp in the afternoon.
Now you can start your lunch set by choosing from either a Shredded Cabbage Salad or Green Papaya Salad, they then choose from the Com Tam Saigon (broken rice) or Bun Bowl (rice vermicelli), and then lastly pick the protein to top off their set from a choice of Chicken Leg, Mayura Beef Tri-Tip, Kurobuta Pork Chop or Soy-braised Tofu.
